Liturgy Encompasses All that Happens to us in Our World

In this series Fr. Albert will explore many aspects of ancient and modern secular celebrations and feasts and with the help of literature, will show how the Divine Liturgy in part is actually the work of the people.  Fr. Albert’s passion is in bringing all that happens to us in life to the Liturgy and finding relief in our rich symbols, the finest expressions inherent in all seven sacraments. He will explore the meaning we give to secular symbols and challenge our awareness in seeing even greater beauty and meaning in the Liturgy, the ultimate expressions of our faith. As an Irishman he will also have many humorous stories and anecdotes to support his presentations.

Rev. Albert J. Nix

Finding Christ in the Gospel Homes and in Our Homes

Jesus spent a great deal of time in the homes of people in the Gospels.  How can we bring His presence into our homes today?  Each evening will include a talk, a short break and time for reflection and then conclude with suggestions and thoughts on how to prepare our hearts and homes for Jesus.
